As we all know morning is a very important time of the day because the way you spend your morning can often tell what kind of a day you are going to have so, try to have a very positive morning. Those of us staying at home for that entire day we need full of positivity. Every day you ask a single question to yourself that you want to be happy or unhappy? You will see a big difference in your attitude.
Spend a quick 10 minutes to clean and tidy yourself for the day before you start taking care of your home. Be more conscious about self-love so, we become able to set good habits and goals for the day.

Start walking or exercising. Probably you become wondering how come exercising is a part of homemaking tips? My question is why not?
The more you keep yourself fit; the more energy you will gain and you will become more active throughout the day to tackle households efficiently.
I am so guilty of not managing my walk routine but I am trying to do something at home for 15 minutes at least. I am working towards this good habit and very soon I will be able to set the routine.
Here I would like to encourage everyone to continue focus on health and if you don’t have access to a gym or clean roads in your locality and find it too difficult to walk in open then switch on the TV or YouTube and do something to stay fit, like aerobics, zombie, yoga, etc.
Tip # 3: Strive for Happiness, Not Perfection:
Mental health is so much important like anything. My priority Is taking care of myself. It’s completely fine you have a messy home sometimes we become exhausted and tired or not feeling well at all, you live in there, and making memories this is very important. Our families adore us. They never complain or demean our efforts. So take care of your mental health which is your happiness first and then try to make things better not perfect we are human beings, not a robot.
Tip # 4: Stay updated and Create Awareness:
This is the need of all of us and I really want to share it all. As a homemaker, we pay very less attention to news and updates just like financial matters because most of us think that its male world. if we really want to be a good homemaker and want to leave a better world for our children then try to stay updated, start watching the news or read any newspaper, follow any daily news bulletin to stay up to date.
What is happening around us and why. Very recently if we are aware of the happening around us we will beware automatically and it will reflect truly on our day-to-day activities like save water, planting trees, and many more. As we all know little drops of water make a mighty ocean.
Tip # 5: Take a Day Off:
I know we Homemakers feel so guilty about taking a rest without any reason or ordering food from outside or even asking our family members to cook for us. Except that we are in situations demand, then we can try to change the outlook a bit and sit on comfort with the better halves, family members and listen to our tiring body as well as of course, not in a day but slowly everyone will realize that small contribution from everyone can manage stress on our body and mind.
So take a day off on Friday or Saturday after doing job work hour’s etc. complete rest watch movies or any prime video series. I am sure this habit will take care of my mind and soul.
Tip# 6: Find your Time to do Household chores:
There is a thing we need to understand, we all work differently and have different work patterns. Finding the time of the day when you feel most productive.
Tip # 7: Be Respectful to Yourself:
Let’s be realistic and ask a simple question to ourselves, How many times we respect our Homemaking duties? Though there is a difference between homemaking and housekeeping. We all are putting a lot of effort to make our house into a home. It requires hard work along with a lot of passion. Stop worrying much about the designation society gives us and let's be respectful to our duties and ourselves. Always believe whatever we are doing is of utmost importance and holds great value to us and our family.
Here I would like to share a life-changing quote:
“respect yourself if you don’t others won’t either”.
So respect your home-making duties, do your work with passion and be grateful for what you have in your life.
Tip # 8: Stay put Together:
We homemakers, likelihood to wear a nice dress or work on our looks when festivals are near the corner or we are going for a party and similar occasion. My experience has taught me to change this outlook. It is not compulsory to wear a dress which has faded if we are at home. Our families will more than happy to see us well dressed.
It is not about how much money we are spending on our dresses. It’s all about how neat and clean we look while we do our homemaking duties. You will feel so good and confident about yourself so, never forget to stay put together even if you are at home. Looks and dressing too matters.
Tip # 9: Manage your Expectations as a Homemaker:
Whether a homemaker or working woman; everyone has their own struggle in life. So first of all be very clear about our thoughts. Having set that try to analyze the conditions and importance of your role in managing it and wants you to conclude it you can see a clear picture and if something is not in our control then we need to manage our expectations.
Most importantly don’t seek appreciation from everyone. Ask a question, how many times in a day or a week or even in a month we appreciate ourselves, how many times we packed ourselves that we have cleaned the space so nicely, or even after saving money from the allocated budget. If you think it is a normal job doing or achieving then why expect others it’s all about our happiness. If we are happy then only we can spread happiness to others. So it always better to manage our expectations and lift our life not others.
Tip # 10: Try to Find Happiness in daily chores:
Cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. all these chores can’t be the only things we have forward to complete each day. Probably many of us don’t like to do these redundant chores daily but imagine that feeling every time we get our cleaned home, we feel so good and our family also enjoys the clean space and delicious meal and in return that will make us happy.
So the point is changing your mindset. Mindset is everything when it comes to doing repetitive work. Just know the reason, understand the importance of your work and I am very sure you will be able to find happiness in those chores.
Tips # 11: Never forget to Take Care of your Mental Health:
It’s not only about beauty or pampers days. Of course, they are equally important but I am trying to say take care of your mental health as well. Learn something just for joy, just to satisfy your inner self.
It could be painting, joining a Jim to stay fit, or learning new things, list is so long so many online courses are there to help you.
Tip # 12: Be Practical – Accept the Reality:
This tip is especially for new mothers or too small kids or even big kids with lots of responsibilities. When you have a small baby and an active toddler around it will be so difficult to make your home look clean and tidy all the time. Even if you have a school-going kid you have to spare a good amount of time to help them with their studies or to take care of their extracurricular activities.
Your family will don’t judge how dirty the home is? But definitely, they will count how much love they found there. So be realistic about your own situation to be a happy homemaker. Everyone's happiness is connected to yourself.
Tip # 13: Decisions/Choice should always be yours, Ones are taken never be Regret:
Everything gets changed with time whether it’s our inner self or our lifestyle it's inevitable. Always be prepared for the change. If today you have left your job, you know there is a good reason behind it.
It would not be very wise if we conclude other's life which is we don’t know what they have on their plate or how life has treated them. Be true to yourself, whether we are a homemaker or working woman we need to know that the choice was always ours. The sooner we accept it, it becomes so easy to move forward in your life.
Now I include if you are a homemaker, your kids are grown up and you have enough time to spare then start thinking of doing something, start exploring.
I really hope that this article will be able to give you a clear perspective about the homemaking journey.
